The foundation works for the solar field have now started – with the concrete bases and iron fittings being put into position. The solar field’s oil drain blueprints have been submitted to the contractor for implementation.
The Adnan Menderes University (ADU) has received test results from TSE, the Turkish standards institution, for the façade insulation. The work will be carried out with Izolux-Thermojet in line with the tender’s technical specifications. A mock-up of the product has been applied to block A of the demo building and the manufacturer has briefed the contractor on the implementation procedures. This mock-up has been applied manually although mechanical equipment will be used for the actual works.
For the planned AD chiller, Çığır Diner from ADU will take part in commissioning tests in late October.
