Excavation and filling works for the planned solar field have now begun following assessment and site visits. This will pave the way, in the coming weeks, for the foundation works for which detailed blueprints for the anchor boards have been submitted to the contractor.
The solar field is not the only area that is in the starting blocks: ADU is currently assessing the test results from the Turkish Standards Institution for the façade insulation, and the works should be going ahead very shortly, both on the façades and the roof.
For the active technologies, the procurement round has been planned in conjunction with the University’s Vice Rector, Prof. Törün Özer. And in early October, ADU’s Çığır Diner will be taking part in commissioning tests for the AD chiller at the factory.
